Fun golf day for our team members - 5th May.08

We played a 9 hole Stableford competition with a difference. There were two bonus points, if you had only one putt on a green. Some players cunningly pitched in, but stayed off the greens and managed to chip close to the hole - and sank the single putt. The winning scores were Jill with 31 points and Judi with 25 points. Well done girls.

Then we had a putting competition on the putting green in front of Lily Waite House. Many different styles are shown in the pictures below. Our creative Captain chose the holes and we were allowed 2 putts each. Everyone had lots of fun.

There was a play-off, between Sybil, Lynn and Jill. But............Jill was the only one who sank the final putt. Well done Jill.
