VERITAS
The Wine Adulteration Prevention Act
of 1901., defines "foreign substances" which must not be
added to wines:- 'sugars, essential oils, cherry, laurel, compounds
of barium, fluorine, bismuth, arsenic, zinc, tin, boron, abrastol,
sulphuric acid, formalin, salicylic acid and other antiseptics,
glycerine, saccharine, dulcine, sucrovin, crystallose, impure spirits
containing fusel oil or aldehydes, coloring matters, gums, blood or
milk.'
Arsenic, sulphuric acid & blood !
